Judith Barajas, LSW

“With every shadow, there is a glimmer of light waiting to be discovered”

Judith Barajas, LSW is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Social Worker dedicated to providing a safe, empathetic, and supportive space for healing and growth. With years of experience as a School Social Worker and in private practice, she has also contributed to community mental health and legislative advocacy, working to shape policies that promote well-being.

Her holistic, strengths-based approach integrates psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed and somatic healing practices, mindfulness training, meditation, and breathwork. She incorporates psychoeducation and evidence-based techniques such as CBT and DBT, ensuring therapy is both practical and transformative.

As a therapist, Judith is deeply understanding, mindful, and committed to holding a non-judgmental space for healing. She approaches her work with a deep respect for cultural identity, spirituality, and the mind-body connection, helping clients uncover their strengths and embrace change. She earned both her Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Aurora University.
