Meet the Team

Kelly Strick, LMFT

Kelly is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been providing care in both community mental health and private practice since 2017. She believes in empowering clients to strengthen themselves individually and in turn, strengthening their social relationships. Kelly uses a systemic perspective to explore the impact of family, social, and cultural systems in order to help clients reshape their relationships, not only with the environment around them, but also within themselves. Kelly takes a direct and collaborative approach to working with clients and always has a sense of humor. She specializes in Women’s Issues, Family Therapy, Feminist Family Therapy, Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Couples Counseling, Premarital Counseling and Parenting Issues.

Kelly obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University and her Master’s Degree in Child and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University Northwest.

Kelly has additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Theory, Internal Family Systems, Feminist Family Therapy, and PREPARE/ENRICH for premarital counseling.

For self-care, Kelly loves spending time with her dogs, exploring nature, and reading. She enjoys traveling, cooking and trying new foods and swimming.
